BotR participated in Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust’s Family and Community Fun Day on 28th July 2024. Over 1,000 attendees visited the garage. Since BotR’s project, Children Driving Experience, has been completed; the showcase went well at the event. Seven volunteers helped BotR to introduce projects to the public and partners. BotR appreciates volunteers’ contributions.

BotR participated in Glasgow Life’s Summer of Fun—Family Fun Day on the 24th and 26th of July 2024. Five participants worked as volunteers to introduce the BotR programme to the public and assist board members in doing a vintage bus showcase.

Back on the Road hosted a Christmas Party on 14th December 2024 for participants, graduates, volunteers, their family members and the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust’s members. It was also a graduation celebration with 4 participants and an appreciation to 2 volunteers for their work throughout the year.

BotR participated in Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust’s Family and Community Fun Day on 31st July 2023. Over 1,700 attendees were visiting the garage. Six volunteers helped BotR to introduce projects to the public and partners. BotR appreciates all volunteers’ contributions.

On the 16th of June 2023, BotR arranged a group visit for Elevate, Move On, and their participants to explore the bus garage. Staff members shared details about the transportation history of Glasgow and discussed the operations of the BotR programme.

On 3rd May 2023, BotR held a Graduation Celebration for two participants. One of them had completed the 20-week programme, while the other participant finished the Community Service through Back on the Road. Both of them received job offers as a result.
