Since Back on the Road started receiving funding from the CORRA Foundation, it has been eager to find another funding source to become more financially independent. With the help of the Scottish Drugs Forum Local Support Fund Team, Back on the Road received consultation sessions to support funding applications and create a business plan.
It is excited to announce that Back on the Road has secured new funding to sustain its community and recovery network services. This significant financial contribution comes from the People’s Postcode Trust, whose generous support will enable Back on the Road to continue covering the expenses of the workshop running and community events. The timing of this funding is crucial as the programme is expanding services to include signposting and developing a volunteer team to better assist those in need.
Back on the Road also received a donation from the Glasgow Eastern Merchant’s Society, further enhancing its ability to benefit participants and the community. With these additional resources, Back on the Road is better equipped to purchase improved workshop tools and provide robust backup for participants.
